Everyone has some interesting facts about their hometown, let me share some facts about mine:
- Geneva-on-Lake
- No trip to Ashtabula is complete without a stop in Geneva-on-the-Lake. This small resort town is home to Eddie's Grill and it has the BEST ROOT BEER anywhere.
- Cedar Point
- Located about two hours away in Sandusky Ohio, Cedar Point Amusement Park is home to some of the best roller coasters in the world. While I can barely make it through most of them, my kids are thrilled to be 48" tall and conquering the fastest, highest, and twistiest rides around.
- Cleveland
- Just an hour drive from Ashtabula, Cleveland Ohio is more than just the setting for the iconic Drew Carey show. You can catch any number of profressional sports teams (Cavs, Browns, Indians, to name a few), explore the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, or stop by the West Side Market.
