Ashtabula Ohio is a city of approximately 20,000 people located in Northeast Ohio. It lies on the shores of Lake Erie and is segmented by the Ashtabula River. While most people agree that the word "Ashtabula" has Native American roots, people disagree on exactly what it means. So we will stick with "River of many fish." The river and lake are integral to the history of the city as a port town. I think pretty much everyone could praise their hometown or disparage it. I am going to go with the latter on this site, but believe me...some of the former stuff is hilarious.
This site is a simple example to demonstrate some of the many, many tags in HTML5. We will cover images, links, lists, definition lists, and the semantic tags (header, footer, nav, etc.) that you need to master before we go on to more advanced material. As you can see, the site is not very attractive, but that is something we can work on in the CSS3 material.
